spring 2012 rtw favorites : part 3

Christian Cota

Exceptional color palette.  Gauzy chiffon, hand-dyed hems, digital graphics.  What's not to like?

Costello Tagliapietra

I always have favorites from this show - the jersey and silk dresses are so expertly done.  This season the prints are just gorgeous - described as "city flowers".  But really everyone's favorite part is when Costello and Tagliapietra come out.  They're too cute.

Cynthia Rowley

Exceptional distorted florals - and she throws in laser cut perforated leather for an interesting contrast.  I love the relaxed blouses.

Doo.Ri

Always a fan of the way Doo.Ri does white.

St. John

My only favorite - due to the asymmetrical oversize sweater and interesting pairing with a bias long skirt.

Yigal Azrouël

I love when a simple shirt gets updated - the crossed seams in this look beautiful.

ADAM

 More fun prints.

Christian Siriano

Something about strong silhouettes in bold colors - it makes a beautiful statement.  Red and yellow with whites and nudes really stand out.

Helmut Lang

Each piece looks delightfully off-kilter, which is visually interesting.

Jill Stuart

Scalloped edges and baby hues look new in pairings of sheers, color blocking, and prints.

Vivienne Tam

I love this last dress so much - the color of the paillettes is just beautiful against the rich brown - almost like patina on copper.
